Wiener-Cafe - Hannover

Very pleasant seating area and great for people watching in the street, square infront of the main train station too! The staff were all very friendly and good at trying to explain to us what the dishes on offer were in English Our first visit was just for coffee and cakes... and very good they were too! Full of flavour, very fresh and each bite a treat to eat! We then went back for lunch. Lovely little basket of assorted breads given The classic duck leg on red cabbage with potatoes was first class my husband said. My vegetables in a wonderful creamy, slightly curried sauce with puffed rice was excellent incredibly filling too! REALLY enjoyed it. The pumpkin pie with ice cream was 'to die for '! From our two experiences I 'd highly recommend the Cafe Central without reservation!

Missed our connecting train in Hannover. Great spot to sit and grab a drink and wait for rgr next train..

Great service. Great food. I did not have a reservation. They were still able to accommodate me. The portions were ginormous.
