Tiki Man Pizza - HANALEI

This place is a hard pass people. In an otherwise island devoid of good food, this place is beyond bad. Please avoid as the food here is beyond poor. The frozen oven style pizza at Foodlands is Michelin star resto compared to this hovel. I feel for these guys as they have been around for 60 years per the hostess. Sad thing is, longevity doesn't equal quality. Find pizza somewhere else.

The absolute best pizza ever, great crispy crust, fresh tomatoes, rich great sauce. Our favorite ever.. maybe even better than pizza we had in Italy

We ordered a pizza. But of course when we walked in the tall blonde. Made sure she said. In a not so nice tone. We only serve pizza now. Is that okay. But of course we came here for pizza. 10 pie we ordered with pepperoni and green peppers. It was okay. Nothing for me to be wowed about. Just your ordinary pie. Nothing to write home about and definitely not something to bring me back. It's starting according to the menu 1963. Back then it was a hit. Today it's a the **** and not in a good way dump. Sorry but Chef Irvine would have a fit in here. He would throw everything in the dumpster. The nicest thing about the place was the bartender. She was sweet and nice. Not a place at this time I would recommend.

I am not sure how this pizzeria is still open. I had the most disgusting and expensive Pizza in my life there. Before ordering the Pizza, I asked how big the Pizza size was and they told me it's a 10 pizza that is sufficient for 2 person. I ordered the pizza to go and waited for almost 20 minutes. Of course they charged me upfront in case I complain. Once the pizza came, it was not even a 7 pizza and completely dry and burnt. I asked the barman, is that your 10 pizza and he told me yes what do you expect? I told him you guys should be ashamed of this kind of practice and ribbing off people/tourists like that and left the place. My advice specially to tourists, avoid this place. There are many other pizzeria places with much fair prices and better quality.

We called to place a phone order and were told to hold, then the woman put the phone down and I waited for 27 minutes before hanging up. I heard background noise and talking and no one ever picked up. We then called to place an order through Hanalei Bay Pizzeria where they immediately picked up, promptly took our order, gave us a reasonable wait time and thanked us for the business.
