Bidrage med feedbackCowfish had long been on my list of must visit restaurants, and I finally had the chance to do so after our summer trip to the Hamptons. The allure of this place was undeniable, and I had high hopes for an exceptional dining experience. As soon as we arrived, the ambiance captured my attention. The seating right by the water was nothing short of impeccable. We had the privilege of witnessing a breathtaking sunset as we sipped on our drinks, and it added a beautiful touch to our evening. For those with kids, there's an added bonus Cowfish offers a dedicated kids' area with outdoor climbing contraptions, providing an outlet for the little ones to burn off some energy. This thoughtful addition certainly earned points in my book. However, when it came to the food and service, I must admit that I was left somewhat underwhelmed. We had a specific request for a side of wedge salad, but the waiter brought us a full sized one. Upon pointing out the mistake, the response was unexpected she insisted that she didn't hear our request and didn't make any adjustments on the bill. It was a less than pleasant interaction that left a dent in our overall impression. The oysters we ordered were also a disappointment, as they didn't taste particularly fresh. This further contributed to our disappointment in the meal. It left us questioning whether our expectations had been set too high when we initially stepped into Cowfish. In conclusion, Cowfish delivered on the ambiance and family friendly environment, but the service and food quality left much to be desired. It's unfortunate that our visit didn't meet the high expectations we had, and it left us with mixed feelings about returning in the future. Hopefully, they can address these issues and live up to the potential their ambiance suggests.

Stopped by spur of the moment. I felt it was the best meal I'd had all summer. The Mojito was spectacular. Wait staff did a great job. I'll be sure to go back with the family.
Probably my favorite restaurant in the Hampton Bays! Celebrated my birthday with my family here and had such a pleasant experience! We tried to make reservations for Sunday, and they seemed to be all booked through Resy. My mom called and luckily they were so sweet and accommodating and created the reservation on our behalf. Our waitress was so kind and was on it with the recommendations. I was bummed out that they had just sold out on their lobster rolls, so will definitely need to go back for one next time. I had a salmon with truffle mashed potatoes dish and it was incredible! The spinach artichoke dip appetizer was also delicious. The menu is definitely a bit on the pricey side, but for a special occasions, I think this restaurant is totally worth it.
