Bidrage med feedbackHad a great time , food was delish, fast service, children enjoied the garden, atmosphere was very friendly, felt at home .
A hot day in the capital and the wish was to have lunch outside but not in one of the innumerable chain restaurants around St Christopher's Place and Oxford Street. Stumbled across the Egyptian House and like an oasis in a desert (sorry! we knew we had struck lucky at the reception from the waiters. They were good, very good and the food and ambience beyond expectations. This is the place to dine and relax and feel detached from the pressure of city life. Recommended.
The restaurant was excellent under the previous management, but now it has gone downhill.
Nice Saturday nigh ,honestly highly recommend this place ; food is so delicious
It seems that there may be a new owner at this restaurant who took advantage of the COVID lockdown to revamp the place. They have added new decor which gives it a cozy and inviting atmosphere, with fake flowers scattered throughout. The food and service are the same as before, with basic dishes that some may find below average. However, overall it is still a nice place to visit in the area. The restaurant seems to have found success with their Arab-inspired theme.
