Bidrage med feedbackFun decor, sushi is good if nothing spectacular, but very cheap. the music consists of a lot of house remixes of pop songs, but apart from this very nice and quiet.
Pretty basic and not cheap but the sushi tastes fresh and the spicy tuna was beautifully spiced, which is unusual. Add to that a friendly staff and all in all I can happily recommend it for a good satisfying lunch.
Really good sushi and Japanese food in a casual environment. Suzu also runs instruction classes on making sushi that are highly rated
This place is tucked away very nicely on the main hammersmith road, But somehow you can easily miss it. Like myself . I was supposed to meet a group of colleagues for lunch here and they asked me to walk from my office on the main road, It was just there , Still I missed it. :P Ambiance : The place is small , A little congested but if you are just there to enjoy a good meal. You are in for a good experience. Food: I’m a vegetarian and when I was told that we are going to a Japanese sushi place. I knew that I wont get anything to eat. But , to my surprise , there were vegetarian options . from Veg tempura to some vegetarian glass noodles to of course some sides. : . Its better than not having any options :P So I ordered Grilled aubergine in some sauce( Don’t remember the name for myself . I was very skeptical about the dish , as it was grilled aubergine. But it was actually very good. The sauce was a little sweet and sour and went perfectly with the aubergine. So my day was saved basically. My colleagues who ordered salmon, pork and chicken dishes were happy with their choices. Recommended if you love Sushi and Japanese cuisine
I was so relieved when I noticed Suzu around Hammersmith, a specialty and not a chain, and so close to where I live. though the notion of tapas has everyone confused once you are ordering, the service and the quality of the food was definitely satisfactory. The sushi classes might also be a good option to get expertise and get fully equipped to judge the food! Godzilla special roll of Suzu and the Kirin should not be missed, time for some sushi, with the locals instead of the venues where the touristic crowd is humming behind and the dish is just a commodity. An edit after last night: The Eel sushi with cooked eels and the most marvellous sauce ever is likely to exceed the fame of Godzilla rolls.
