Bidrage med feedbackWe were in town for an event at the high school and found El Primo based on the good reviews. The food was pretty good, but this is the most expensive cheap Mexican food we’ve had in a long time. Expect styrofoam containers and plastic baskets for your food, but sit down restaurant prices. And they charge you for everything. No free chips here. Food 4/5. Value 2/5.
We waited in line to order behind a large party. Probably 12-15 people. Three Hispanic guys came in about 10 minutes after us. As we were still waiting to order, a lady came out and pulled them to the side. She took their order, and when I questioned if we could order through her as well, the bartender said she took their orders because they were Mexican and Spanish speaking. Unfortunately I can’t review the food, as we left after this experience. Would not recommend supporting this establishment due to racial discrimination.
The food and service was great. We enjoyed our lunch break.
This is definitely the top one or two restaurants with Mexican cuisine which I have had the pleasure to visit. A previous reviewer had something to say about canned margaritas and that they should have walked out. That was certainly not our experience. The quesadilla was the best quesadilla I have ever had.
