Maccheroni Cucina Alfresco - Hamilton

Stopped by for lunch and had an olio e aglio spaghettini that I absolutely enjoyed. It was simple and very classically made. The bruschetta was just bruschetta. Nothing extraordinary. My company had the butternut squash ravioli and their pasta special for the day with salmon. They didn't love their dishes as much, and I second their opinion 1 star). Not as good as the olio e aglio they agreed..! Serving sizes are also quite filling and the waitress was so very friendly. Definitely recommend!

Came here for lunch on a Saturday. The restaurant is a lot bigger than it looks from the outside. They also have a semi-private room at the back for 10 people. I had the munca italiano (a roast beef mushroom cheese) sandwich and the calamari. The calamari was average but the roast beef sandwich was delicious! Service can be a little slow but the server was very friendly! Feels like a family owned restaurant.

One my fav Italian spots anywhere. Very cozy and the staff are very friendly without being pushy. The calamari is always my go to app. I went with the baked ziti (Carbonara) and my wife had linguini arabiatta with chicken. Great traditional Italian fare. I also had a Wellington County Imperial Russian Stout. Yummy.

We can always count on being completely satisfied by a meal here. The feta bruschetta is always a must. So delicious, I usually order the full order so I can take home. The wait staff are absolutely the best, so friendly and personable. The atmosphere is probably one of the most comfortable of sit down restaurants in the city, even when they are busy, and they do get really busy. I've nearly had everything on the menu and NEVER been disappointed.

This has been our go-to spot for meals whenever we are in Hamilton or nearby for years. The food quality is consistently good and reliable. The service is always friendly. Although it can get incredibly busy, especially on weekends, the waitstaff remains cool and ensures everyone is satisfied. We have never had a disappointing meal here, which is quite an accomplishment.
