Bidrage med feedbackWe came to this Irish pub nearly every night of our stay in Hamburg, the Guinness was just divine proving it can travel, their food was lovely and reasonally priced, we were on our honeymoon for a week and I'm sure my new wife thought I was married to the place lol. best of all were the friendly Irish staff and owner, Glen, Aaron, Julia, Audrey and Audrey who really looked after us not because we were newly weds but that is the way they are with all their customers, The bar itself is in a cellar of a listed building which has lots of character and is in the heart of Hamburg 3 mins walk from the RatHaus...just fantastic.
One of my favourite pubs in Hamburg!Always the perfect choice if you´re in the city centre with friends at night and you want to drink something in a quiet but still entertaining place. They have a wide selection of beers, good food and good live music on Friday and Saturday night. The building is an ancient and very nice one (the pub is located in a cellar). You get more the feeling of an Irish pub here then in other Irish Pubs in the city (once I got a waitress who didn´t even speak German :D)
More of a German pub with a faint Irish theme but all the better for that. This cellar bar combines the nest of both to provide an excellent atmosphere with some good beer.
I visited this place on a couple of occasions during my recent trip to Hamburg and thought it was fine. On each occasion there were a few people in to give the place some atmosphere. The beer was good, reasonably priced and the one time I ate, the food was OK. I had the ribs, which tasted pretty good and if I recall, the price was 11.50 euros. The only possible complaint would be that I thought the staff could have been a little friendlier. They were not rude, just not the most welcoming people I have met. Certainly not a bad place worth a look in, if you are passing.
