Durham Ox - Hambleton

Just popped in for a quick drink but ended up having 2. The place has just been taken over , so I don't know what it was like before , but the owner's were friendly and the old local we got talking to was full of knowledge , who got on great with my partner as she went there in the 70s. Good prices give it a go if your passing , don't think they do food at the moment ... But I could be wrong.

Great Dog friendly pub, staff were very helpful and attentive, the food was excellent and very reasonably priced, they managed to get a stake on the mixed grill a perfect medium. Highly recomended

Lovely people. Nothing was too much trouble. All the food was lovely and plenty of it. Dog friendly too. Definitely recommend this pub.

Went in Xmas day with my elderly father was greeted by a miserable trout faced dark haired woman with tattoos. Didnt get a smile when we left either. Disappointing, especially at xmas. Some people should not work in hospitality. Loverly pub overwise.
