Four Topped Oak - Halton

Huge but still cosy pub which was surprisingly busy for a Monday lunch. May be due a refit as could do with a lick of paint here and there but that didn't spoil the experience. Service was polite and food was fine, had decent starters and main meal each off the fixed price lunch which was great value three courses for the same price as a main in other pubs. Nice relaxed experience.

Emma was very efficient and professional in knowing who was next in order at the bar. Have had many good nights here both Eating and drinking. On this occasion very busy as Ember Inns had a promotion on, but we were only here as usual for a drink. Well done team.

Me and my boyfriend went for New Years to have some dinner. The food was amazing. We both had the southern fried chicken burger and my boyfriend is a picky eater so needed it plain. Nothing is ever too much trouble whenever we go. Special mention to the entire team, both kitchen and front of house. I've never had a bad experience. Emma is an absolute legend, always switched on. Jess R is always on it with her legendary quizzes. Jess A behind the bar keeps the banter flowing and the cocktails. JamieL and Reuben swear they're on skates the service was that quick. Also loving the app. Very convenient and easy to use.
