Monchshof - Halle

I was there to dine alone. I had read great reviews, so I went. the waitress was rude, said that I can't be there as I didn't make a reservation and I didn't show my vaccination certificate. the truth is that she didn't even care about the thing, and only because I wasn't know enough for her, decided to be rude and racist. the waiter came with us and saved the day. he was beautiful. he could feel the situation and was really smart at the treatment of racist waitress, taking over from her, and so I feel very home. the whole rest was empty and I have no idea why the waitress could decide that I was not welcome! but the waiter so exceptionally nice and helpful, very friendly and professional. if this restaurant wants to serve beyond the parochial white clientele and want to make a name, they must train their employees to behave professionally and not to demonstrate racism in the big and whole. eating was good, so the ambiente. but the initial hiccup left a bitter taste in my mouth. visit all that a beautiful restaurant could offer in the corner of the hall marketplace, but if they are now white, I hope they won't come to the waitress! everything was great, except for her.

Although close to the marketplace that attracts many tourists, the customers of the restaurants seem to be mainly local and there is no English menu, but the server has spoken enough English to help us what we want. the restaurant has...a historical connection with a brewery. the suppe and the grilled fish on the daily special lunch were very delicious. the service was fast.

Enjoyed the meal immensely; great regional cuisine. One of the best shepherd’s salads I’ve ever had. Bread was fresh. The wild boar was delicate and well-cooked. If you’re in for a good meal in a convivial environment, this is your spot. Not too much flare,...just really good standard regional German fare.

Eating has been really delicious and the ambiente is great. you felt very comfortable right now. the service was friendly and quick. the prices are quite high.

The mönchshof is now one of my favourite restaurants in halle. next to a very nice and attentive service, the house scores especially with its excellent dining. in the april, the lamb dishes are particularly highlighted. the only problem: I could only cost the lamb fillet in root vegetables pine. delicious! for the other variations, I must come back again.
