Red Stag Tavern - Halifax

After a long and hot day, our group of nine finally arrived at Keith's. We opted to dine at the Red Stag Tavern. The food and service were exceptional. Emilee was wonderful with the kids, and they even provided charging stations on the patio for our phones. I highly recommend this restaurant. We enjoyed dishes such as fish and chips, mac and cheese, calamari, sweet potatoes, and an incredible homemade burger.

I visited this restaurant with some friends on Saturday night and I must say without a doubt that I will definitely be returning. The food was excellent and the staff was outstanding. Our waitress, Emily, made sure our glasses were never empty, provided great recommendations from the menu, and was a joy to interact with. The prices were very fair, the food was served hot, and the beer was cold. The staff was friendly, helpful, and easy on the eyes. What more could you ask for in a dining experience?

We recently visited this restaurant after purchasing a Groupon deal. It was our first time dining there. Our server, Tyler, provided excellent service, attending to everything from our drinks to our food. The food was delicious and we enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant. We will definitely return and highly recommend it!

After 5 the apps are half price so we (2 ppl ordered 4. When it came they were pretty big portions : . Ended up bring 2 home. It's a good way to try different things on the menu and the staff was super nice.

My wife and I go to the Stag all the time..our fav place! But last night, we had family from PEI in town and they wanted to take us all out for dinner, so we recommended the Stag. Her family are in their late 60 's and come from a fishing community and are seasonal fishermen. I recommended the fish and chips. After one bite, her aunt, who has eaten a lot of fish in her day, said, 'This is the best fish I have ever eaten. ' Everyone left full and very happy!
