Five Guys Bayers Lake - Halifax

Two customers in front of me and one behind me ordered full meals and received their food before I got my simple poutine, which required no cooking, just assembly. Next time, I will opt for Burger King instead as the service here was disappointing.

The burgers and fries are unbeatable, and the prices are reasonable. The staff provided excellent service.

The fries were mostly small. The food is pricier than it should be for a fast food burger joint. The music is too loud and unpleasant. Tables are not cleaned frequently.

The food was great but when we went in an hour before closing the staff informed us we couldn’t eat inside. The facility was cleaned and the staff didn’t want people sitting at the tables and their milkshake machine was “broken”. I suspect it was already cleaned and they didn’t want to clean it again since the peanuts were also put away. I think all services including dine in should be available before closing and final clean up should happen after close. I’d be more understanding if it was even 15-20 minutes before close but an hour seems excessive.

Burger was good.....a single is more than enough. Not cheap though. $17 for a burner and fries......not even a drink! It is good but not $17 good.....
