Dairy Queen - Halifax

The restaurant is quite clean with fast and friendly service. The food was hot and fresh, particularly enjoyed the hamburgers. The ice cream was also delicious.

After a long day out and about, I was in need of a quick pick-me-up on a hot evening. Luckily, there was a Dairy Queen near my house, so we decided to swing by the drive-thru for some hot fudge sundaes. The service was quick and efficient, the staff was friendly, and our sundaes were made just right with a generous amount of hot fudge on top of cold ice cream. It was the perfect treat to end the day.

The chicken fingers were excellent, but the fries were overcooked and the Sundae was lacking hot fudge. Overall, the meal was mediocre.

We recently visited a Dairy Queen on the advice of a friend who recommended to try one of their dollar meals. My wife and I were impressed by the fast food, good portions, prepared after you order and delivered to your table, the clean, comfortable environment and happy, courteous staff. We thought this was a unique experience and was just a very well-run franchise. Later I tried the DQ at Bayer's Lake in Halifax and the DQ in New Glasgow NS on Westville Road with the same experience good, fast food, clean and excellent service all at a reasonable price. Well made DQ for high standards and delivery.

The chicken finger meal was okay but the fries tasted re-fried and the sundae had hardly any hot fudge on it - the chicken fingers were very good though.
