Dark curly hair young woman took my order and brought to our table. She was very friendly and pleasant. Busy spot at it wasnt lunch crowd. Everything fresh and made daily. They also had corn chowder soup special that looked delicious(lady behind me had). Tea was hot too in it's own pot!
In my opinion, this is the top restaurant in Dartmouth. They prepare everything just the way I like it, even better than I do at home. Despite my dietary restrictions, their food always leaves me feeling fantastic. The owners are fantastic, very friendly and personable, and the value for the price is hard to beat. Give it a try!
I love supporting local cafe's and restaurants especially when they are this good. I always enjoy my experience when I go to Cafe 98 and the staff that work there are charming and welcoming. The food there is great too and each time I order something from their menu I know it's going to be delicious (try the western omelette breakfast sandwich with cheese! It is a quaint little cafe but it's not short on character or good food.
We stumbled upon this hidden gem shortly after Cafe98 opened and we haven't turned back! The food is always fantastic and fresh, no matter what you order. My husband can't get enough of their lasagna, and they serve the most delicious tuna melt you'll ever taste! A great bonus is that it's a small, family-owned business, and Carol and Fouad treat you like one of their own.
This is the best breakfast sandwich I have ever had. I was delighted to see that the cafe sources their ingredients from small local businesses instead of large companies like Sysco or Bens. This commitment to quality really shines through in their food, and I will definitely be returning.
