Maple Avenue Tap Grill - Haliburton

Discovered this place yesterday as my daughter and I were looking for a place to eat because it seemed like every other place was closed (note to self, don't go to Haliburton on a Monday). Food was excellent and although the poor server was run off her feet as apparently her coworker had to leave sick, the service was still very good. Definitely would recommend the brie and mushroom burger (minus the peppercorn ranch I don't know why everyone seems to want to put that horrid condiment on everything these days). A very good, accidental find.

We were out on a Sunday drive and stopped in Haliburton for lunch. Decided to try this restaurant for lunch. We decided on the burgers because the menu said they were homemade hamburgers. They were so good, came with fresh cut fries and I could only eat about 1/2 of them, large order! As we were sitting there I noticed a board that said homemade desserts. I asked the waitress what a hummingbird cupcake was. Sounded good so we took a couple to go, during our afternoon drive we ate the cupcakes. I wish I had bought at least /2 a dozen to bring home. Delicious! If you are looking for a place that is reasonably priced and good food in Haliburton I highly recommend that you eat here!

My husband and I stopped for a quick lunch and by far the mushroom brie burger was the best we have ever tasted. The chef was very accommodating as well...(keto option for my meal)! Will have to go back next summer when we return.

Wonderful food and great atmosphere. Service was first rate. Like this place.

New owner. Restaurant cleaner. Menu more upscale and elegant. Looking very good. Excellent Eggs Benedict dishes. No wifi! NO WIFI!!
