Excellent food and service, extremely reasonable price

Cute izakaya walking distance from the station! The staff were so kind and accommodating. The restaurant (at least early in the night) had a more calm atmosphere than some izakayas it was playing Christmas piano music. It was really lovely! Highlights that we tried were the cheesy scallops, crab, and fresh squeezed sours. Definitely recommend for a relaxing, cozy dinner!

Staff did not speak English so the “selected grilled seafood” squid item on the menu came out raw. They were kind enough to help to grill it though and it tasted really good. Grilled mackerel was great too.

Squid sashimi is a premium price. Fresh and delicious.
