Country Style - Haileybury

My son and I went for a drink and a donut. My son had a hot chocolate and I had a French vanilla. We both had a jelly filled donut. I prefer French vanilla from Tim Horton's but I Country Style is walking distance from my house. I expected the donut to be stale but I was pleasantly surprised.

This location is connected to a subway restaurant gas station/ convenience shop. They don't have much fresh donut options. But the staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Terrible service. Waited at the counter for about 8 minutes before some Lady came out and said “yes?” to me in a rude tone, almost as if she didn’t realize she was there to work. Not a great look

Understaffed! One lady is not enough for the morning rush. Food is hit or miss if you actually get what you order. I often get the Great Canadian BLT at Country Style. When you order it here sometimes you get only back bacon, sometimes you get only strip bacon.Today I asked for a cinnamon twist and I was told sorry they are all still frozen. Only 3 doughnuts in the cabinet at 730am ?!!!

I just went in to get a coffee and the lady was so ignorant i couldn't believe it. Asking who was next while i walked up to the counter. I tell her what i would like and she asks me 4 times. Finally just slaps my coffee down on the counter and walks away. Doesn't even let me try to pay. I had to wait for someone to walk up and let me pay. I will never return.
