Bidrage med feedbackThis restaurant was a bit tricky to locate as the address on Google Maps is incorrect. If you find yourself at the location Google Maps directs you to, continue walking down the street for about 300-400 meters. It is situated across the street from the Guang Dong Hotel. If you reach the intersection with KFC and McDonald's, you've gone too far. However, it is definitely worth the effort to find this restaurant. It can be challenging to find fully vegan food in China, but this establishment offers many options. When I arrived at 5:40, there were already patrons dining. As I left, more people were coming in, indicating it can get very busy. The fried noodles were tasty, and the bao zi (various buns and cakes) were incredibly delicious. Additionally, the restaurant has clean washrooms with toilet paper available, which is a definite plus. I plan on returning before leaving Haikou.
The vegan lunch buffet at this restaurant is excellent. There are a variety of green vegetables, starches, and protein sources, all of which are prepared deliciously. Every dish I tried was delicious, including an extraordinary vegetable I had never tried before. There is a wide selection of soups, along with buns, boiled peanuts, sweet potato, and corn. The buffet offers enough options to accommodate almost any dietary preference. Just be cautious when using Google maps to find the restaurant, as it is located at No. 47, across from the Guangdong Hotel, southwest of where Google indicates. Take the elevator at the far left (NE) end of the building's front entrance.
This restaurant is likely the only one open for three meals a day. The food is fresh and there is plenty of seating, although it can get quite crowded. The buffet offers a variety of items and the price is only 19 CNY per person, making it a great value. It appears to have a loyal customer base.
I went into this restaurant at 3pm and in the APP it showed open. It was closed, however the door was unlocked so I went in. Of course- not a word of English. When I asked if they used MSG in their food they proudly stated of course . I suggest you take a pass on this vegetarian restaurant if you 're concerned at all about your health. I 'm positive they dump truckloads of the white poison on everything they serve. Why am I not surprised...oh- just in case you still want to go, let me prepare you for one more frustration; the location on the map is incorrect about 200m away and around the corner) and that green sign that is shown in the photos does not exist. It 's actually a red sign. You 'll have to ask around and someone will point you in the right direction. [censored] Appetit:
