Au Lac - Hai Phong

My partner and I had been looking for a hard time to find vegetarian eating in hai phong - no vegan friendly place at all. we went around for hours and asked for a chay (vetnamese for vegetarian) and the people were not willing to understand us with a translator. when we found this place and found that everything from him was vegan, we were in heaven. the ladies just gave us a pliers/spinoon and we chose what we wanted to eat. everything they can eat for like 100-150 wnd for 2 people. that's like a couple of usd. we were on the way to cat ba and needed to stay in hai phong for a night and after 15 hours travel we wanted to eat only good vegans and that was amazing. the ladies are sweet and friendly. also clean.

Restaurant in buffet style with daily meal for 30,000. the staff was very friendly, despite our language barrier! rich of tofu, mock meat and veges. bit oily but cheap and easy! Just show what you want.
