The Plough Hahndorf

I am so glad I was introduced to this delightful Irish Venue a couple of years ago. I have returned a number of times and told many about it. Each time has been for Friday night live Irish music. It takes me right back to visits to Ireland. The food is authentic and very delicious. The service great and always with a smile and a chat. A good choice of drinks available including of course Guinness for those who love it. The music is also authentic and adds to the charming atmosphere of this Irish island in a German focussed town Hahndorf Adelaide Hills) Lots of Irish signs, photographs and memorabilia add to the vibe of this delightful venue. Thank you for your hospitality!!

First time visiting “The Plough” and honestly I’ll be again and again!! Had a coffee to start and that was a solid 5 out of 5!! I had the Guinness pie meal and it was the best I have had!! The atmosphere was spot on, customer service second to none!! (Would leave a photo of my food but I ate it before the thought of leaving this review)

This place is such a hidden gem! The food was delicious, the coffee was spot on and the owners/staff were very inviting. Can't wait to go back.

Great spot, great food, seafood chowder best outside of Ireland! And the craic is mighty!!
