Veitingastaðurinn Ráin

This jewel of a short drive found at the airport. The view in the restaurants is absolutely beautiful. The food is so good. We have the lamb and the fish of the day. We had a vegetarian friend who also loved his food! I would definitely come back when I come back to Iceland.

We visited the restaurant in February, it was quite and absolutely amazing. We decided to go lobster soup as an appetizer (easily amazing) and with the whale and the horse harness (just to try it) as a main dish. The dishes where not something we would do every day, but it was definitely worth a try. The service was excellent and in any case would recommend everyone to give him an attempt.

We wanted to taste traditional Icelandic dishes, so we chose the Walsteak. Very delicious. Good portions, just like we wanted. The restaurant is nice and cozy. I would definitely recommend

2 course menu for good price and large portions. Delicious and fresh products. Good service

Amazing little place, hidden away really compared to other restaurants. A beautiful view of the coast, with some impeccable food! Best lamb I ever had!
