Bidrage med feedbackNice, quite large, uncomplicated homerton pub. good ales on hahn, sport on screens, pool table, interesting beer garden/smoking area with loads of covered space to sit. beautiful place to get a drink.
The vibe of Adam and eva are not sitting on the biggest road, but young it is a beautiful pub. recently renovated, shows the striking façade of the creme terracotta really its edwardian inherit. in the inner it looks like your average iondoner irrigation hole – a little uninspiring truth is told. but, give it a chance, saunter back and they won't be Adam and eva it! (see what I made there the L-shaped pool table is the first of many novelties that will catch her eye. go on to the garden and you will find a mini paradise of mismatched vintage furniture, low hanging lamps and a attached with quirky trinkets – great talk starters. with many nooks and...read more
H[pster oriented pub on Homerton High st. Gives off the vibe that they dont really want people of an older age in there. Was served up 2 x 34 of a pint of beer. Asked for a top up then got 2x 78 of a pint of beer. had to ask for a further top up to get a full pint. When i tried to pay with my card in this card only pub it would only accept my card if i clicked on a certain percentage of tip or no thanks if i didnt want to give a tip at all. Why would i want to tip anyone for just pouring me a drink especially when it wasnt a full drink. Not a nice experience.
Unbelievably expensive for a pint of Guinness £6.70!! and the staff don’t know how to pour it. Terrible service. Massive shame because it’s a beautiful pub
This is a great and v large east London Victorian boozer that should be a good place for an evening out. Sadly it's not due to the main bar area being completely dominated by 5 sports screens, all on at full volume. The pub is big enough to have a sports area and a non- sports area in the main bar area. Out the back is a lovely big candlelit room that is ruined by awful music played very loud (to drown out the sport? . Thank goodness for the covered garden, which would be pleasant if there were comfortable seats.
