I visited this place with my family, we were all very disappointed with the food and service. The food was cold and the staff seemed very impolite and miserable : . And they charged us for TAP WATER! Never experienced such a thing before. Been there twice before and was my fave restaurant. Until today, I can never go back again. Hopefully they can improve this.
Delicious fresh grilled Turkish good. Quality and reasonably priced. Great service. I visit here often and will continue to do so
I've been to this restaurant three times in less than a month so far and I've never been disappointed..The quality of food is excellent:very good salad,Turkish bread, mixed grill and lamb doner kebab.By far the best Turkish restaurant in Stoke Newington and maybe in the whole London..Reasonable prices as well so great value for money..Highly recommended!
Had a typical weekend lunch with family; decent Turkish food if not the greatest. More of an average one but given pricing and costs, not a bad option. Value for money. One of the very few Halal HMC certified outlets with no alcoholic beverages on site hence an added bonus for practising Muslims/is a Muslim-friendly environment. As for the food, worth trying the kofte kebab or chicken or meat shish taouk as the main course. Also, the mini or mix grill/kebab is great for 1-2 person. Also worth trying chicken wings (Tavuk Kanat). I would personally avoid the grill that comes with ribs as they tend to smell of rawness/with too fatty residues but that may be got to do with my personality who is more used to the cuisine of Indian subcontinent and who can't stay without thoroughly spiced food. The place is generous with salads/and or bread options with sauces. In fact, it can be used as a free starter! However, at busy times, such option may be limited or delayed until the main course comes. Not much dessert options/not authentically in-house prepared dessert options. Complimentary after dinner tea provided on occasions/and or on request, free of charge, a Turkish way of saying thank you. Service/staff okay and polite in most cases albeit a bit casual which is fine with me (or in fact, I prefer to be that way which gives an original Turkish way of doing things informally and traditionally instead of the usual 4-5* overdone all-for-the-show tip driven services seen elsewhere.
