Bidrage med feedbackWhen I first visited Bohemia for a storytelling night themed “Romantic Misadventures” and a pop-up folk event, I was impressed by the Manhattans served behind the bar. The atmosphere was cozy and charming, with wooden tables for four, artful decorations on the walls, and soft lighting creating a comforting ambiance. It felt like the perfect spot to enjoy a coffee, grab a secret bite to eat, or relax in a laid-back environment. I made a mental note to consider it for my upcoming birthday celebration, as it seemed like the ideal place to host a gathering. Overall, my experience at Bohemia was...
I visited this restaurant on a Monday with my mother. Unfortunately, we arrived too late for hot food so we opted for coffee and cake instead. The cappuccino had a delicious chocolate dusting, which was a pleasant surprise. We just missed a local performance, but the waitress encouraged us to come back the next day to experience more of what the café had to offer. She also mentioned a breakfast special until 1pm for £5. I am looking forward to trying it. I will have to come back and try the food before giving a higher rating, but for now, I rate it a solid 3.5 due to the fantastic service and atmosphere.
This was a Hackney gem. Great cheap food and brilliant live music/poetry venue in an arch underneath, well almost, Hackney Central Station. Now only a memory as Network Rail evicted them and all the other arches tenants to increase their profits.
We had stayed overnight at the Travelodge opposite which serves a kind of snack breakfast. Bohemia opened at on a Sunday morning so we decided to try it. I had the staggeringly huge healthy breakfast of toast, smoked salmon, scrambled eggs and cucumber. It...was excellent, my husband was equally pleased with his Hackney fry-up breakfast. It was really inexpensive, with coffees and an orange juice the whole thing was about As I was full enough not to need lunch I think it was a bargain. I wouldn't hesitate to go there again if in the area.
A friendly cafe tucked away near Hackney Central station. The drinks were great but the paninis were very bland! They have WiFi and outdoor seating to enjoy a coffee in the sun.
