Bidrage med feedbackGrowing up, a typical weekend always consisted of a big family friend, where the children would be kindly turned around while the parents laughed and drank. The round table would be filled with a variety of foods to share and each spin brought you another dish. These memories were a great part of my childhood and shaped and influenced my love for food and the way it brings people together. Recently I went to this restaurant that I've been a kid and really appreciated the beauty that Shanghainesian cuisine is. This kitchen is on the sweeter side and has a good balance between sweet and acid flavors. Here are some classic dishes known for Shanghai: 1. Crispy fish characterized with Sweet Sour Sauce ≠≠ 2. Shrimp Stuffed Aubergine in Pot 3. Braised Pork in Braune Sauce only condition 5. Shanghai Style Spare Ribs 上 6. Sweet Lotus with Osmanthus 8. Baby Shrimps Þ虾仁(strich) characterizing preparation propagation) 9. Soybean leaves ε 10. Acht Flavor Sweet Rice Cake Seeking
I'm definitely not an expert in Shanghai cuisine or Chinese for this matter, but I tried at least a few places. This is my favorite total Chinese restaurant for a number of reasons, but at least, a place I do not recommend enough. The food is top notch to prepare in terms of quality, variety, portion and speed. Service is also good. The image below is the best product, a slightly broken (w/ seaweed! fried fish served with salt and pepper. A small vinegar puts it over the top. Other favorites are the eggplants with Bonito flakes, bbq pork belly, and xiao long Bao (Soup pork dumplings I argue are better than Din Tai Fung (or at least on place, cheaper and less wait!
Came here with a group of friends The soup and orange pork is good Also the eggplant and fat pork The duck is okay, but somehow expensive overall not bad
That was our first visit in a long time. The menu points unique and taste good. It is a turn on the typical Chinese restaurant food that is good. We're leaving.
Great traditional Chinese food, definitely will be back once I visit LA again
