Decent pub but what made it for us was Lewis behind the bar. Played an excellent mix of music and was very engaging with customers including us. Lewis also played a few requests and was very knowledgable music wise it was great chatting to him about music in general and he was spot on with his recommendation of Imelda May’s cover of the Northern Soul classic Tainted Love (which a certain band from Leeds may have covered early 80s too). Regular live music nights are very busy so while generally dog friendly, probably best to avoid taking the dog on live music nights. Thanks Lewis your happiness was infectious and you made sure our last night in Aberdyfi spent at The Brit was top!

My favourite pub in Aberdyfi, Fantastic Friday night at The Brit, pub was buzzing, live music was fab, sang a great range of songs. The pub has a great range of drinks and the bar staff were friendly. Landlord Gary was very welcoming and we will definitely be back when we visit Aberdyfi again.

Great pub, really friendly and great selection of drinks. We had a lovely meal in The Harbour restaurant which is above the pub.

I asked for 2 pints od Butty Bach beers. As we were drinking outside i requested plastic glasses. The glasses were marked up ad 0.5 L Selling pints of beer in 0.5 litre glasses. That's only 0.87 of a pint!

Lovely cosy old fashioned pub . Friendly bar staff. Popular with golfers. Separated restaurant upstairs run as separate business.large range of drinks.
