Caffi Kiki - Gwynedd

The food at this restaurant was outstanding. I highly recommend it to anyone in the area (or willing to make the drive).

On holiday with my son and his three children, we were struggling to find a restaurant in this area with availability for all six of us. I was apprehensive about this one as the children had never eaten Greek food but I needn’t have worried. The staff were unbelievably helpful and provided a suitable children’s meal for the five year old. The older boys tried dishes from the menu and we all thoroughly enjoyed the food. If we asked for things less spicy they happily obliged. The cafe is in the middle of nowhere but is well worth seeking out as it is in a lovely location and everything about it is really special, even strawberries and little brownies brought at the end with our coffee! The staff were friendly and the service was quick! The quality of food was excellent and the chefs did an amazing job. They have the best hummus I ever had and plates were big servings. I had calamari for starters and pork gyro for main with halloumi on the side. Highly recommend all these as they were all incredible as well as everything else that my family ordered. The view is also nice outside the cafe. I would travel again to Wales just to go here again!

Amazing food, every mouthful was delicious. Perfectly cooked and I wanted to eat it all over again. Great service too, and great wine. Loved it!!!

After reading great reviews, my family and I decided to book a table at this restaurant one night. Unfortunately, we found the food to be very average and overpriced. While the lamb stew was decent, there was not much meat in it. The calamari seemed store-bought and lacked authenticity. As Sicilians, we know our seafood and were not impressed. Additionally, the portion of swordfish my son received was disappointingly small. We felt rushed during our meal, likely because we arrived late due to traffic. Despite being one of only three tables in the restaurant, we did not feel comfortable taking photos. Overall, our dining experience was not as expected.
