Bidrage med feedbackThe Mexican cuisine La Potosina is one of those places that seem unbelievable, but is really a hidden gem. Do not look at the name “La Potosina” in your Spanish dictionary, it is part of the name of a city in Mexico. The inside is missing, but the food is good. You can choose to sit in a stand, at a table or at the counter. Your menu is simple, but affordable. The salsa is fresh and has a little kick. You can order queso, but it costs you $1 extra for a bowl, but it is nice and warm; my grandson loved it. The server (a local) was friendly without being pushed. I noticed that an old Coke refrigerator had traditional Mexican sodas that you could buy with your meal. It is not every day you will find one of these small “Mom and Pop” places that serves good, simple, delicious, Mexican cuisine.
Very bueno. My husband said give him 5 stars. He had pictured the beef enchiladas with chili sauce. (Lunch price $7.95) I had two chickens enchiladas with white queen. When I mentioned the waitress that it was not very cheeky, she brought some of the yellow Queso to try. It was very good, had a kick. The salsa was also very good, not bland. It's more like authentic Mexican food. We'll eat here again.
I love eating here! Our waitress was attentive and knowledgeable about the food. I had Fajitas and freshened Mais Tortillas! In fact, everything tasted fresh and authentic. Please take your time to eat here. The decor is Spartan, but don't let that discourage you to sit for a meal! Drinks and beer are available.
Food was amazing. They have different stuff, on the menu, than the other mexican restaurants in town. I love it. Definitely my new spot.
Truly authentic and amazing food. they even have unique dishes from within their home state in mexico to try, as well as homemade tortillas!
