The Kitchen At The Mission - Gustine

What a great fund on hwy 5. a small oasis. the hotel is beautiful as the restaurant. we decided to sit in the sporty to watch football. maybe that wasn't the best choice because the bartender/server, lisa, was smeared with a big party (order of many rounds) plus a huge food order. she had to cover the bar and all the other tables. but she had several runners who help to get food to the guests so that it worked. the food was delicious and hot! my man ordered buffalo wings. it was a huge order and he said that they were the best he had in years. I ordered bruschetta, good, but not worth the price. my home salad was just ok- my man caesar was much better. he ordered the penne rustica. he got caught up with it! it has chicken, garnelen and speck. I ordered a pasta dish with alfredo, sweet and grilled chicken. it was divine! overall a wonderful culinary experience. we are more than willing to drive 1.5 hours to eat there again. the owner and the chef should be proud of the culinary experience and delicious food they offer to guests.
