Hilde's Restaurant - Gura Humorului

Hello dear friends, please note that this restaurant has been closed for more than a year. We went there for dinner today and as all seemed left we talked to neighbors and they confirm that probably due to the Pandemia Hilde closes everything. Styria

The food is excellent. We had rams with palenta and a beautiful sheep cheese, called burduf, and chicken with mushrooms (paprikas) and palenta. Amazing, and I am very picky. Price-quality ratio is good, and the waiters are very polite and professional.

Try the soups and reserve ribs. Also the desert is great: . The location is amazing, the service is 10.

Went there at the beginning of August for a few meals after staying a few years back. My question is what happened? The place used to be great during our stays in 2016-2017. The waiters were friendly, the food was varied and tasty, the place...was thriving. Fast forward 2019: the waiters are still friendly but the place was nowhere near as full and the food was a lot less varied and just okay. Their menu is only a shadow of its former self. Three vegan dishes, a few soups and steaks and that's about it. Not bad tasting but not great either.

The waiter Alexandru was extremely rude and would not serve us even though they had an empty restaurant because they apparently had to serve their guests first. I doubt they had so many guests, they had only parked 4 cars outside, and he wouldn't even... come another place where we could eat, say he doesn't want to help his competition. Don't come back.
