Good food, nice service and view. my mother didn't find her rice so fresh, but.

Walked in for dinner. Very much a local place with some exotic dishes from parts of Africa along with local food. The staff were very friendly and the food was good. Location 8/10 Ambiance 7/10 Friendliness 8/10 Food 8/10 Return May be Recommend Yes

We went on our last night at this excellent hotel. It was a Sunday which may not be the best night to judge, but, the ambiance is very good, the service was attentive if a little slow and we were impressed by the food although my fish was just a tad dry. You should not fear the prices they are a slight mark up on local restaurants but then you have excellent service and an historic setting. Glad we went.

All is good .. a bit old fashioned and that facilitates a trip to the past that is accompanied by the flavors of the traditional portuguese food
