Really happy to see this chain- Country Inn’s- offering vegan menus, I think it’s fabulous. However, the ‘Curry’ I received for £13- yes more than a curry house- was an insult. It was a pile of clumpy rice with a small serving spoon size of sauce and some boiled vegetables underneath. I actually felt really angry when I saw it- they think it is acceptable to charge £13 for this; I still believe it’s because it’s from the Vegan menu and they think we will be too nice to say anything! Wrong! It was sent back and exchanged for a tasty but small harissa burger. They either need to drop their extortionate prices or make the portions bigger.

The restaurant offers a vegan menu with a variety of options for appetizers, entrees, and desserts. The dishes were enjoyable, although not particularly outstanding. We did receive butter with our soup and bread, even though we had ordered from the vegan menu. However, they promptly corrected this mistake and provided us with olive oil for dipping the bread instead. It is advisable to double-check if unsure about the ingredients. The portion sizes are on the smaller side.

They offer a separate vegan menu that you can request, and dishes are clearly labeled as vegan or vegetarian, even on the main menu. There is a wide variety of options and I really enjoyed the main and dessert I ordered. The pub has a charming atmosphere and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. I visited on a Sunday and despite it being busy, the service was still efficient.

I recently tried the new vegan menu and was impressed. The whole food salad starter and curry for mains were delicious. However, the chocolate tart for dessert was a letdown as it seemed to be pre-packaged. The service was good, and we didn't experience any of the slow service we had in the past. The restaurant's renovations are also well-done. Overall, it's great to finally have a good vegan option nearby!

Vegan menu with several options for starter, main and dessert. they were delicious, but not remarkable. they brought butter with suppe and brot, although we ordered from the vegan menu. when we pointed out that they quickly corrected it and brought some olive oil to immerse the brot, but make sure that in doubt! portioning are not very large.
