Bidrage med feedbackSwiss Chalet is more than just a restaurant in my memory's tapestry; it's a beacon of brighter moments from my younger years. College life in Guelph was a mosaic of challenges, and every penny counted. Dining at Swiss Chalet was not an everyday affair but a rare treat, a moment of solace amidst the financial strains. Each meal there wasn't just about savoring the flavors; it was a celebration, a brief respite from the weight of daily struggles. Today, years later, stepping into Swiss Chalet is like revisiting an old friend. The aromas, the tastes, they all transport me back to those days of hope and determination. It's not just about the chicken or the sauce; it's about the dreams, the resilience, and the cherished moments of youth. Swiss Chalet remains an emblem of those treasured times in my heart.
Great rotisserie chicken dinner. Awesome service. I wish the sauce was more thin like it was a long time ago, but the flavor is still there so it will do.
We're warmly greeted and taken to our table of eight. Although three arrived after we had eaten, our waitress, Sarah, kept everything straight! She was friendly and efficient throughout the whole meal. We all had separate bills except for one father and son team. Not a mistake was made and she kept refilling our glasses as needed. Thank you Sarah for a wonderful experience! We had a great time visiting around the delicious food.Wheelchair accessibility: Our friend was able to get into the restaurant with his wheelchair. No problem. He sat at the end of the table very comfortably and was able to access the washroom easily also.
Went there today over lunch, March 8. Ryan was our server..it seemed he was the only FOH working at that time. He rocked it! Even though he was super busy, he checked in on all his tables regularly, our food was delicious, he was polite and super friendly!
This restaurant was not managed properly. Not enough waiters to meet client needs. We had to wait over one half hour to have a waitress come to our table. 45 min to get a drink. Over one hour to get our dinner. We usually are in and out of a swiss chalet in one hour. Our visit was two hours! Our waitress was overworked, literally was running to get bills, food, drinks. Two girls working very hard and one elderly lady that did practically nothing. Food was great however!
