La Reina - Guelph

This restaurant is the place to go for fantastic margaritas and tacos, but be prepared for small portion sizes. The tacos are tasty but on the smaller side, priced at $14 for two. This is ideal for those with a smaller appetite. We have sampled all of the tacos and margaritas here and have never been let down.

The prices at La Reina are high for small portions of well-presented but cold and low-quality food. The staff seemed disorganized and neglectful, leaving my wife and I disappointed with the service and meals we received. The waiters were inattentive and there was a long gap between receiving our food and being able to pay the bill. The guacamole was served with cold pork rinds and oily chips, while the tacos we ordered were small, cold, and overcooked. The only edible option was the shrimp taco, but it was heavy with rich sauces and cheese. Overall, I found the food to be subpar and not worth the high prices. I hope that La Reina takes this feedback into consideration and improves their offerings to match the prices they charge.

This restaurant deserves a much higher rating. I would say that the Pollen-loco-burrito is the best burrito I've ever had, and I have been to many spots in North America for burritos. Their spicy shrimp tacos are the best tacos I have ever had in my life - the perfect bite and tons of flavor from every angle. The fried habanero salsa is out of this world, and the small hot sauce is a perfect accompaniment for a spicy taco! Their tequila and Mezcal lists are well-rounded. The server is hospitable and provides fun entertainment. I highly recommend coming here if you want authentic Mexican food. In my opinion, it is the best restaurant in Guelph, hands down. Keep up the excellent work, La Reina! Their brisket tacos mean business!

The pastor and the guac were ok, but it is definitiw not authentic Mexican food. I had a bang when the personal my voice corrected (I am Mexican.) it is somewhat overpriced for what it is, the portions are generally small. the facility of the restaurant is interesting. overall it's okay.

Good food but GET READY to wait! Waited for an hour to get food. I understand restaurants can get busy, but this one wasn't and even then you should be able to serve the food sooner.It was nice sitting on the patio outside. Great vibe, just get on with the food!!!
