Bidrage med feedbackColmeia is the sort of place that makes you feel at home! The food is excellent and the atmosphere and staff are very welcoming, friendly and cozy! If you're passing by Guarda or staying around don't think twice about stopping over for a meal (or two!! I can assure you won't regret it!
We had a risotto with coquilles Saint jacques for 19 euro and it was perfect. Just as fresh and flavourful as my golden seabrass. I got to chose the fish.Nice appetizers as wel. We had a glass of wine, bottle of water and a dessert for two. The Bill was 50 euro. Well worth the money!
First let me say that I wasn't really expecting such a cosy and classy space, but as soon as we've put our feet inside it was like entering in a different reality... In a good way : All the food we tasted was excellent, from appetizer to desert. Service was always attentive and very professional. We will definitely come back soon!
We been recently in this restaurant by searching on a portuguese restaurant guide, and the surprise was great. We started by the local charcuterie, and other delicious starters they served as soon as we got to the table. After my wife had a grilled sea bass that was delicious and i had some lamb chops with garlic that were to die for. Had local wine recommended by the owner. He chose a delicious Douro that matched really well with the lamb. When passing by this unknown area of Portugal is worth a visit to this restaurant.
This is our nearest restaurant and our first visit tonight. Reading the other reviews, we were expecting good food and service, and were not disappointed. We were brought out some nibbles with bread, which were excellent. For mains, I had Medalhões de vitela and the meat was the most flavoursome and tasty I've had. Although the price was a lot more than we would normally pay in Portugal (more like we would pay in Ireland) 2 courses each and a bottle of wine was €94, it was worth it to find such a good and different variety of dishes in a restaurant just 10 minutes away for a treat meal out.
