Bidrage med feedbackA wonderful place for Sunday brunch. The drink menu is inventive and the food excellent. We enjoyed the mimosa with orange sherbet and the Kir Royal.
Food and service were very good. Our concern is that when returned to the restaurant a second time (last visit was in April) the Pesto recipe had changed significantly. It was not as good, appeared to have a slight cream base which was not anywhere near as good as it was in April. Why was it changed? Change of chefs? Go back to the original recipe.
Don't miss this spot. It's a great place for lunch or dinner...or to study. The owner and staff are so-so nice and the food is amazing. (Try the gazpacho!)
I enjoyed the ambience and old world feel of the place. When my girlfriend and I attended there was a guest chef from Spain who specialized in hams. We ordered two servings of a thinly sliced prosciutto style ham. It was divine. We stuck with appetizers. We had the spiced olives that were nothing special and a cheese plate. It was delicious with the ham and bread. I had a humdrum French onion soup and she had a salad with sliced duck. If this restaurant was anywhere else I would give it a 3 as average. But the location is unbeatable.
I went with a couple of friends to dinner and we get an interior table, the restaurant have regular beer, a fine menu for a moderate price and a beautiful live singer surrounded by exceptional musical artists (I remember one of them performing a perfect polyphonic overtone singing), that was an awesome evening talking and laughing with my beloved friends... one of that nights that I am going to remember for a long time. The atmosphere of such a magical place inspires relaxation and motivates a nice dialogue.
