I live in guanajuato and have been driving to barra for about 3 months. I eat there about 3 times a week. I almost always have a wrap de pollo that is very good!huh, cheese, salat, grilled paprika, swirling and maybe a few small slices. by jalapeno? it is a very, very good sandwich and comes to the side with a delicious sauce, and I usually have a red drink called toras?! I can't tell you what's in there (lol, but it's very delicious. 'comes cold; much red fruit in it. wifi is good, brownies are good (I think they're homemade, as well as empanadas, muffins, espresso drinks, etc. from this writing (jan 2017) they're just put into a new espresso machine! I can't comment. when I laughed before, they were good, but rather mild. "very in the middle of the road. they have changed their coffee supplier to coffee from chiapas. so hopefully the coffee will be a bit more robust in the future. the caffe is tiny. only 4 tabs. but very reasonable in price, good service and good food. my ONLY complaint is that the tables are quite uneven and a bit crisp. be careful where they sit a drink on the table to avoid spilling it. trivial, I know, but I wanted to say that because that's my only complaining! (I think the tables were a budget movement.
We came by chance through this little caffe and decided to have breakfast here. the owners were really friendly and made us breakfast to our order (min was not even a menu). the breakfast was really tasteful. they also let us try to make their house... **** what was great. absolutely recommended!
I live in Guanajuato and have been going to Barra for about 3 months. I eat there about 3 times a week. I almost always have a wrap de pollo--which is VERY good! Chicken, cheese, lettuce, grilled peppers, onions, and perhaps a few small slices of jalapeno?!? It's a very, very good sandwich and comes with a delicious sauce, too--to the side. And I typically have a red drink called ... Toras?!? I actually can't tell you what's in it (LOL), but it's very yummy. 'Comes cold; lots of red fruit in it. WiFi is good, brownies are good (I believe they're homemade), as well as empanadas, muffins, espresso drinks, etc. As of this writing (Jan 2017), they're JUST put in a new espresso machine!--so I can't comment on that. When I've had lattes before, they were good--but pretty mild. 'Very middle of the road. They've changed their coffee supplier, though, to coffee from Chiapas. So hopefully the coffee will be a bit more robust in flavor in the future. The cafe IS tiny. 'Just 4 tables. But very reasonable in price, good service, and great food. My ONLY complaint is that the tables are quite uneven and a bit wobbly. As in, be careful where you sit a beverage atop the table, so as not to spill it.
