Smoke Hog Ribs & Beer - Guadalajara

Had heard good things about this place but the food was terrible, ribs tough and over cooked, pulled pork was overcooked too and came in a dry stale roll, waiter slow and unhelpful. Go elsewhere if you want a good meal.

I was really disapointed. If you come from the US and have an appreciation for good BBQ, you will be let down. We were litterally kicked out of the place at exactly closing time. We were given styrofoam cups for our beers. We were not permitted to even finish our glasses.

I came to this place with a few friends because I heard from other people that it apparently had "the best ribs". I love meat and I love ribs. The ribs from this place have a LONG WAY to go to becoming the best ribs in GDL. There were a few things i di not like AND that you usually will not see at a rest that sells good ribs. First, the sauces....come on, i mean...its a ribs rest....give us some GOOD rib sauces...not just mustard, hot sauce and bbq (which was;t great). also, the sauces were really cold, like if they came out of the freezer. cold sauce + hot meat = not a great combo. second, the lady that took our order, was really slow....and u guys had NO COKE or BOTTLED WATER. really???? It took a little more than an hour for our food. Meat had no flavor. I give it 3 stars because the french fries, corn, corn muffin and cole slaw were actually good. This place had good prices though. For 5 people, not even 60 dollars. overall, I've tastes way better ribs than this place.
