Birrieria de Nueve Esquinas

Came here for the Birria and it did not disappoint. The interior of the restaurant is clad with beautiful vibrantly colored tiles. You can see the dishes being prepared in the open part of the kitchen. The restaurant opens onto a quiet little plaza. The...birria itself is great, everything is flavorful, taste like someone's grandmother made it. It is not expensive at all for what you're getting, and the atmosphere you're in. Thoroughly enjoyed our evening here.

The atmosphere and structure were fabulous as was the food! We came on New Years Eve, the service was awesome as well. The came quickly, and was incredible Birrieria. We had a very enjoyable time!

Terrible service Overpriced for the portions Salat was a joke You have to ask for onion, lemon, coriandr, fork in my opinion in Mexican Restaurant it should come automatically on the table ... I do not recommend mainly because of...the service and the prices Waiter was surprised for not getting any tip ... for the service, I do not know what he was expecting Spend pesos without drink and had to go to eat on another place ... The restaurant is open to the many-cornered plaza on two sides, which makes the meal more lively... though it's also probably pretty warm here on hot days. The birria was tender and tasty.

Went in right after arriving in GDL with other people. I got the Birrieria, which was quite good and my friends got tacos and sopes. The waiter was attentive and helpful, and restaurant itself has a nice historic feeling atmosphere. Worth a visit, though...a touch more expensive than some more informal establishments. I would take friends back on another trip for sure.
