Sampan Cafe - gstowne

This place is medium sized, about 12 to 15 tables, which I really like. I don’t like big places because the service is not good, servers are so busy running around.We usually order take out, at least once a week, because this place is always very, very busy. Whenever I show up there, there are always a lot of Asian people. You know it’s good and inexpensive ‘cause only Asians eat there.It has a big parking lot in front of the restaurant. The challenge is finding a spot close to the place.

I just loved how I was the only person not Asian eating there. The food was good with a big size portion and the service was great. Vegetarian options: The garlic eggplant was delicious and we added tofu.

This morning we had dim sum there. The food was great and the service was excellent. The salted egg custard bao was really bad good. The deep fried taro and chicken feet were also outstanding. Everyone there were friendly and ready to service. The price was very reasonable. One of the best dim sum i had in many years.

Excellent Dim Sum made to order.Great service, nice atmosphere. Will definitely be back.

Definitely has earned a new customer I came in to check out the place for a quick to go bite to eat ..the atmosphere and the( daughter) made me feel right at home and welcomed...I got my food and waa on my in less then 15 miutes...
