Bidrage med feedbackStay here for 2 nights in winter, the hotel itself is beautiful and comfortable with large rooms. Nothing nice, but it's good. The staff was very nice. The biggest problem is the restaurant. Food options were terrible and limited. Almost as if they didn't take much care to eat here, at least for their winter menu. The food was very bland $20 burgers) for dinner. Breakfast is terrible and also expensive, Denny?s is better and that says a lot. This place would be so much better if they were more concerned with their food, I think people would not think of paying the high prices if the food was actually good. And there are absolutely no restaurants in the area, so you? You put your food here if you were back at the hotel. Here?s to hope that they listen to their customers and improve the food quality/flavors and a wider selection of food options here. Your menu is very limited in winter.
This is the place to stay when you visit Yosemite. It was one of the best places where we were? ve ever stayed. I don't even know where to start... The aesthetic is perfect. It has a modern rustic charm. I love how they try to separate you from the digital world. No TV in the rooms. But they have so many games and activities all over you. All were so nice and accommodating. The food was great. Approved in our opinion for California. The soap smells in a bottle after Christmas. Very recommended!
Words cannot describe how good this hotel is. The perfect location to start a trip to Yosemite. The rooms are so beautiful and clean. The bed was super comfortable and exactly what is needed after a long walk. Oh and the food. Oh, my food. In any case, eat there one night if you can or go and sit on your balcony looking at the stars. Would definitely book again.
Amazing location directly at the entrance to Yosemite Park. We are a family of five and we were in a villa that had a room for the children (sofa bed) and a room for the parents. The room is equipped with a coffee machine, a small fridge and a safe. The bathroom equipment is great (they sell their own line). The children enjoyed the pool and the s?mores through the fire in the evening. The restaurant is good, but expensive, so we only had dinner and not breakfast. For breakfast and lunch (for hikes) we bought food in the main store. They also have a laundry room and a playroom that the children loved. Everything in all a really great place to stay. The reason for the 4 stars is not AC in the room (the ceiling fan made terrible noises so we could not use it) and the high prices and long wait in the restaurant.
We were thrilled to be able to get a room last minute. It was a nice room. Staff is very nice. The rec manager was amazing with the tips he gave for Yosemite in a day. However, there?s no TV or microwave. And the room was dirty. Scuff marks and dirt on the wall, there was an old pair of socks under the couch, and the room itself was not as clean as expected for the price you pay. The beds were not comfortable but that is an opinion of course. Some people may like the firm/hard beds. I get that we?re in an area where there are bugs but there was a HUGE spider web that had dust on it. It took awhile for that web to be created. The amenities were great. The food was good but overpriced. The menu was limited and they were out of the 3 items we were going to order and ran out of lemonade. And we were told that the chef doesn?t like to make changes to any dishes. Not sure we?d stay again. Not sure we?d recommend either. Hi Teri? thank you for responding. We did find the microwaves by accident. To have to walk down the hall with the items and try to walk back to the room without spilling, etc, was very inconvenient. As far as the chef, we didn?t ask for anything special. It was the fact that you were out of several dishes so the choices were limited. On top of how poorly the cleanliness of the room was, we were very disappointed.
