Pizza Express - GROTTAFERRATA

Tucked away in a little side street of Grottaferrata, this is a gem of a proper Italian Pizza restaurant. The menu has a wide selection of Pizzasand other foods but they will make a bespoke pizza for you with just about anything you want on it. Most noteable was the size of the Pizza Oven! Their Pizzas are thin crust, proper Italians ones without the stodge and they taste absolutely amazing. They also do Take-Aways so that you can enjoy them at home. It's difficult to recommend any Pizza; we shared four different ones and each one was delicious. We will be back!

Pizza express is a great informal pizzeria, really great pizzas and starters (I recommend the home made suppli) Massimo, the owner is a very friendly and funny guy, he will make you feel right at home. I have lived in Italy for four years and am so happy I found this place, I come here very regularly, you won't be disappointed!

Pizza cotta con ottimo legno. Delizioso anche fritto soprattutto il fornito. Massimo il proprietario è sempre presente in sala, bello e professionale. Altamente raccomandato. Focaccia con friggitelli, pomodori, stracciatella e basilico. Fantastico!

Il ristorante è davvero accogliente, pieno di vita soprattutto di giovani. Anche le cameriere sono giovani, sveglie, con tanta voglia di lavorare e sorridenti. Il cibo è eccellente.

Another great family meal in this reliable pizza restaurant chain...this particular location in Leatherhead does have seating which is level access from the road, but also another large area which is us a small step into a platform...just be aware when booking. My gluten free meal was safe and delicious.
