For many years il Grappolo had been our top Italian restaurant... until earlier this month. Scalloppina Marsala was ok, the vegies could have been a bit better. My partners Antipasti Speciale, which she always liked, was a complete mish-mash disaster!
Sad to choose such a headline, but beautify for what? What happened: I ordered as seafood salad. that looked a bit boring, was cold and in no way freshly prepared. it tasted more like a finished pack from the subway, so remained more than half. the waiter asked about the floor, he got an honest answer and then defended his kitchen. He asked me if I wanted something else. I refused. as the main dish I had ordered a whole Calamar fried from the special card. the came nicely prepared and also smell delicious. Unfortunately, the squid was through and through hard, but not old, even the catching arms were hard. I've never seen that before. the waiter did not come in between to find out, probably because it was already "satisfied" with us before. But I replied that only unfortunately the squid was through and through hard. He said it was often the case. I've eaten a lot more often. he didn't go on and cleared. from then on we were no more attention, no question about a dessert or coffee, nothing. This was the first restaurant we found when we came to Großhansdorf and were already a few times. eating is consistent Italian without any fanfare.
