The location is excellent, the room is excellent, it has a small kitchen, cooking items, and the view is amazing The only problem is the air conditioning I lived on the ground floor, and we had two free days, and I had to open the door, and all kinds of insects entered Rooms: 3 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Great view
An diesem Hotel sollten sich andere ein Beispiel nehmen. Wunderschöne Zimmer, zuvorkommendes und geschultes Personal. Das Essen im Restaurant war hervorragen. Die Aussicht von unserem Balkon war ein Traum. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Luxury, Kid-friendly
We stayed at this hotel in July and absolutely loved the experience. This was, by far, the most scenic view we ever had from our hotel room. The rooms are maintained very well and were perfect for two adults. The balcony added to the charm. The hotel staff was very friendly. It is a family-run hotel, so the staff does thin out in the evening, but to us, that added to the experience. The hotel has a Cake buffet in the evenings, which was great. The Swiss breakfast buffet in the morning, with Bircher Muesli, was fantastic. The hotel is a walk from the train station but very doable; we walked with heavy backpacks. The benefit you get is that the hotel provides one of the best views of the mountain in Grindelwald. Stay in August, very nice hotel, extremely well kept, staff present and speaking several languages. It is ideally located slightly set back from the city itself, so it 's really quiet. I know the Jungfrau region well for having already stayed there often which brings me to the less glorious point, the prices in general, not only of the hotel but in the region, my last stay dates back to 2017 and there it is. is incredible, everything to triple! The hotel restaurant (in fact there are two) for example, is very famous in the valley of Grindelwald but very expensive. The icing on the cake we were counting the carafe of tap water at 7 Swiss francs ...... we had never done that one to me ..... Afterwards, don 't kid yourself in town, it 's no better, except to go to fast food, it 's out of normal prices and it spoils the pleasure a bit, even if there is a large reservoir and tourist potential, it could one day turn around. You will understand that the criticism is not directed at the hotel itself but general. In conclusion, the Kirchbuhl is a perfect hotel, you can go there with your eyes closed. On the other hand, on the wallet side, it stings a little.... Food drinks: The hotel 's restaurants are very well rated, the gastronomy in particular is among the best in the valley, it 's not me who says it but locals we met during our stay.
