Bidrage med feedbackIf you go to Grindelwald, you must stop and get a snack and a drink. We traveled by train from our hotel in Interlaken. The train dead ends in Grindelwald. This is a beautiful city and nice café.
By strolling along the street, I became attentive to the queerish suite: triangular coffee table, odd looking chairs; then I realized, it's a coffee-shop in a sports shop (grindelwald sports). Inside there's a little bar, and a couple of differently designed zones. I was pleased by the designed furniture and atmosphere. The cafe is open to the staff, customers of the sports shop, as well as to the public. The assortment is quite small: coffee, tea, drinks and some cakes. I was attended by the sports goods salesgirl, who was likeable and giving me the WLAN keyword. I could perfectly chill out an work on the Internet. But don't expect culinary delights, first of all, it's a shop for sports gear.
This place is so lovely. Wonderful people host and bring an extra warm and special dimension to your meal. We got lots of little tasty surprises throughout our meal and so many “bests” of the courses we tried. Without ruining any taster menu surprises of course
Traditional or vegetarian menu of your choice, with wine or beer accompaniment. Very good, very original, warm welcome and warm and intimate decor. A restaurant that deserves its little star. To be tested for anyone passing through Grindelwald!
Wir haben einen wunderschönen Abend mit sehr gutem Essen erlebt. Die Karte ist klein aber fein. Schönes Weinangebot. Sehr gemütlich mit fachkundiger und herzlicher Beratung. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
