We decided to give this place recently after we had a fantastic Nepalese meal in helsinki during a trip. how disappointing our experience was here! not only were the prices high, the service was woken above all we sat on one. table, which was reserved for another party, although it had a 'contained' sign on it. it was the chef who asked us to move (and the chef had to leave the kitchen to deliver some meal times). we had a bottle of wine, but had to ask for wine glasses. the "expectancy in training" did not know which basic principles of service are. about eating, it was scandalous. the filthy vegetables were salted over. even the yogurt topping was salted, why would anyone think it necessary? When I came to the waitress, she laughed. I ordered a chicken cure as a head, but got goat. while I was offered a replacement, I decided to try the goat. it was totally uninspiring. there was no taste depth and the flesh was gummy. too much salt again. my partner ordered the pork belly. it wasn't a pig bell, it was a pig short. it was also not marinated after the menu description, and tasted blande. it was infallible, so my partner went hungry to home. the brot we ordered was oily and we suspect it was commercial. the oil on the brot tasted old. very unpleasant. we had to complain strongly to be taken seriously and had a full acceptance of the bill. it has not changed us that we will not return to this facility.
I am surprised by the negative reviews that receive this wonderful restaurant. especially those who claim that eating is lacking Nepalese taste. this is the restaurant that the Nepalese diplomatic service and the community use for their events and activities! I can only accept. that these negative commentaries of certain parties are jealous of calling and standing in the community. I have always brought my hospitables home and always warmed up by their appreciation and satisfaction with this restaurant. I was only once in the other Nepalese restaurant in canberra and did not leave a negative note or a return visit. I guess that's all. remember, this is not an almost food restaurant. the meals are prepared individually and are not “related” offers like the other place. I give chef surya of toh 5 stars for the consistency and authenticity of his Nepalese cuisine.
The restaurant offers delicious flavors and excellent service. The main dishes are full of aromatic ingredients and the side dishes, such as the eggplant, potato, and flower cabbage with green beans, are particularly tasty.
I recently visited this restaurant with some friends and were highly satisfied with the authentic Nepalese dishes served. Unlike many other Nepali restaurants in Australia that lean towards Indian cuisine, this restaurant offered genuine Nepalese dishes that were reasonably priced. We ordered a platter of traditional dishes such as Bada, Choela, Sekuwa, Momo, radish pickle, and flattened rice for starters, which were delicious and well-prepared. For mains, we enjoyed rice, chicken curry, goat curry, and mixed vegetable curry, all of which were flavorful without being overly oily or spicy. The service was satisfactory, and we would not hesitate to return for future gatherings.
