Bidrage med feedbackFrom the moment we arrived to the moment we left, our experience at this restaurant was absolutely fantastic. The atmosphere is cozy and unique, and the food and service were outstanding. Every dish was meticulously and lovingly prepared by the Statdlander family in their charming farmhouse. It is definitely worth the two-hour drive to dine here.
After visiting countless top-rated restaurants around the world, I can confidently say that one of the best dining experiences I have had is right in our own backyard. Our most recent visit was to Trail 25 last weekend, where we stopped at eight stations scattered throughout the meadows and forests on the farm. I won't spoil the surprise by detailing each station, but I can say that the ingredients were fresh and perfectly balanced, with flavors that delighted our taste buds. The food was prepared right in front of us at each station and served in charming and unique agricultural-themed dishes. Guests were encouraged to bring their own wine or share with friends. If you appreciate exceptional food, Trail 25 is a must-visit destination.
This restaurant is truly unique - it is a combination of a farm, business, and home. When you visit, you are essentially attending a private dinner party with only about a dozen other guests. We opted for the eight-course dinner menu and were pleasantly surprised by the delicious food. Be sure to make reservations months in advance and bring cash as the only form of payment accepted.
We were on this farm for the 25th anniversary of Maple Syrup and Leek Event. It was a beautiful sunny day and the sellers were all amazing, food was so delicious starting with the bone marrow in the bones, Hiro Sushi appetizers, wonderful blintze with... Curry, amazing dessert and large maple tree filtered water. The owners of the farm have such a love for what they do and they do it very well. It was fun to be out and socialize with others, enjoy the fresh air, the smell of fire and great food. If you are adventurous and a food, you will enjoy this place. A dinner in the summer is recommended for an 8-course menu. You'll love it!
There is no choice regarding menu. Chef Michael Stadtlander serves whatever is in season or ready for harvest at the time. Most ingredients are from his own farm or neighboring farms. This in not for those with picky eating habits, you get whatever he makes...that day. Usually about 8 courses but ends up being more than that (the charcuterie plate had 10 different items and the dessert plate had three different desserts). All courses are incredibly cooked and artfully presented, not to mention absolutely delicious. They do not have a liquor licence, so you have to bring your own wine. They will send you an idea of the menu a couple of days prior so you can decide on your wines. Exceedingly expensive but worth every penny!
