Update: came back to a later visit and waited for them to take my order. very frustrating. Trying to get their attention were ignored. Place wasn't so busy. We wanted to go out, but finally someone got the attention and still felt like we'd bother her.
Frog legs were nicely cook, still moist. The spicy lemongrass flavor works. Korean galbi flavor and salmon needs more justice.
A trans formative experience. If you're in New Orleans you may not think of Vietnamese food but you should and Tan Dinh is the perfect example of why. With a huge menu, cheap prices, and DELICIOUS food you will be so happy you made a trip here.
Pretty great Vietnamese restaurant a short drive away from the French quarter. Staff was friendly and offered helpful suggestions when I had difficulty choosing a menu item. Food came out decently quick and was all very tasty and well made. Only problem with the food was that it was a little on the dryer side. The portions were humongous though, one order could probably feed two people.
I love Tan Dinh. Everything from the Gỏi cuốn to the Bubble Tea, it’s all soo delicious. My favorite is the rice place with the baby chicken, served with Nước Chấm sauce and fresh vegetables.
