River Shack Gretna

My food was delicious and hot! Our server was great and attentive. There was plenty of food to take home for another meal. It was nice sit outside and enjoy our meal.

I'm not sure if my experience was not the best because I had great expectations for them. I been to court a few times, I was had another court date so I planned to visit River Shack, I wanted to experience the rooftop, but it was closed. That's why I rated the atmosphere a 3 because the rest of the place was average to me, and the let down caused my rating to reflect such. The rooftop balcony with views of the river and city set this sports bar apart. Large beer selection, vast array of TVs. Large food menu, the fried mushrooms are quite good on a cool night.

My first and last visit. We were there to celebrate my Mom's birthday. Thursday night special was steak and potatoes $18,well guess what they claim to have run out of steak. Ok we selected something else. When the waitress brought out our food four of us had ordered crab cakes and guess what, they only had enough for 2 people. And our waitress was just blahhh. Service was friendly and the prices are reasonable. The fried shrimp and the biscuits were great! The Huey Omelet was disgusting! It gave a very swampy taste. I couldn't get passed the first two bites.
